The viewer was subjected to one dark political plot after another in rapid succession! phhheww..Prakash Jha whipped up a roller coaster and Randhir Kapoor played Godfather (Al Pacino) and/or Arjuna and/or Sonia Gandhi..:)

I think it is Awesome depiction of Mahabharta with Politics in modern life

Nasruddin Shah as Bharata
Mother of Ranbir Kapoor playing – Kunti,
Nana Patekar – Sanjay,
Two brothers as Gaurava Father(gets paralysed not blind) and Pandava Father(dies in accident trying to help)
Ajay Devgan – Karan who never leaves side of a friend like Duryodhan(Manoj Bajpai)
Ranbir kapoor – Arjun
Arjun Rampal – Yudhister

Mind games, revenge and other stuff. 5 Stars from me..

Very well said Vipul! Revenge can turn a totally sane man into a crazy bull! Gone are the days when villains looked like the cliche villains..they are smart, intelligent, and ordinary looking folks (like sleeper cells who turn vengeful at the click of a button). Excellent remark..thanks!

Great post Ridhima. It is an excellent movie depicting what lust for power and revenge can do to a perfectly fine human being. I love the way Prakash Jha was able to show a very fine line between white and dark. It was hard sometimes to gauge if the hero is a villain or the villain is a hero. Overall a super movie!
