Dear Sav,

No it should not be any problem. By now you would have already appeared for the interview so it would be great if you can share the outcome with us.

I have created a dedicated forum for H4 visa holders : http://h4-visa.com/ Please take time to check it out.

Thanks for your patience.

Hello Deep,

Don't be worried at all. Just follow the rules, gather correct paperwork and get ready with a story that you have to tell during the interview. The questions are pretty much the same as asked to another applicant who is a female..:)

I have set up a forum and browsing through this container should be useful for you : http://h4-visa.com/content/h4-visa-husbands

Let me know if you need more help. I wish you all the best!

Please tell us what happens on 30th..:)

Hi Ridhima,
I will be appearing for H4 visa interview on Jan 30, 2012. In my case, I will be going alone (without my husband) for the interview. I have all the documents referred in the blog above. My husband's green card is in process and he will get it within couple of months. Will this cause any problem/risk for my H4 visa stamping?
Your help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
SAV

Hi, I got my H1B visa last year. Now I am planning to apply H4 visa for my wife and two kids. I got DS160 confirmation and will be scheduling interview date soon. Could you please tell me if I also need to go to consulate with my kids or my wife is fine.

Hello Jaganath,

Thanks for posting. Only the visa applicant is allowed in the Embassy. You may consider taking translation services offered at the Consulate. Oh! but the interview occurs in less than a week so I am not sure how you'd arrange for that. Perhaps call VFS and find out if they can arrange for a translator at the Consulate.

Please do come back and share your experience.

Good luck!
