Vegas and me…:)

As soon as we were about to land at San Jose International Airport,CA, the Captain of the Southwest flier announced the landing and added that those of us who have come for a ride only, may keep sitting on for some time to fly back to Las Vegas. Wow!! That sounded good and equally tempting. I realized that I had fallen in love with the city in just a couple of days. Although the others accompanying me including my husband, had serious business, lofty yet exhausting plans for their trip, I did not lose hope. Made the most of it in the casinos and in being awed by my surroundings!

From our homeward journey to San Francisco from New York, we had to stop over at Vegas!!!woooooooooo…actually, poor ignorant me had no clue of this angle to the journey. And man, as soon as the famous clinking of the machines was in earshot, I just wanted to leave all the baggage and run towards the slot machines to play. We checked our baggage in….gleefully discovered that the flight was delayed by forty minutes and hit the gaming area!!! Enjoyed ourselves and did not show up until the final call was made by the air staff!
The glamour and magnificence of this city is way beyond word to convey. Everything is so larger than life. The hotels, the architecture, the hopes…yes the hope of a jackpot! The hope of being a millionaire!!
The clinking sound of the slot machines still is clearly resonating. This city is intoxicating even if you don’t use alcohol. For the HAVE NOTS, head straight up in your next vacation. For the HAVES, when do you plan to go again???
