We found our car keys!!

This happened a couple of days back. In the morning as my husband set out for work, he realised that his car keys were missing. I was still yawning and looking like a sleepy potato when he urged me to help him find the keys. I sprang out and both of us ran a rapid search in the house, but to no avail. My husband raced down to check if his keys had mistakenly fallen near the car or somewhere on the stairs. No keys. We checked with the Community Security if anybody had deposited some lost set of keys. No good there too. Again we ransacked the house, not overlooking any possibility of a casual flip from the jacket/pant pocket to anywhere!!

Our forbiddenly heavy couch, was moved from its place for the first time. All we found was a rotten apple peel, an unposted letter, a rubber-band and some stray peices of paper. On a hunch, I went down to look for the keys myself but from a seperate exit. I peeped into the car from all the windows. I realised that people who were looking at me from the street-side assumed I was a small time thief (thanks to my bedraggled looks !!!) I went up (used the elevator, unlike my husband who used the stairs).

And gosh!!I looked at a tiny yellow piece of paper stuck to the wall near the first house opposite the elevator with FOUND and a down arrow key scribbled. I recognised my key and was happy!! Happy for two reasons :
I had found an excuse to impress my hubby :) ), and more so
on someone’s civic sense!

Made me all the more responsible. Such smalll incidents inspire us to do more and more good around us; to be as simple and most helpful around. Not only for the faces which are familiar to us, but also for anybody in despair for a lost set of keys (no, no, I am joking……for everybody around!)

Yipeeeeeee! We found the keys!! :) )
