The Great Big World of Fan Fiction
November 15th, 2004 | by Digvijay Lamba |It was 2 years ago that I first discovered the world of “Fan Fiction”. I started reading some fan-fic episodes of Friends online and moved on to Star Trek fan fic.
Slowly, as I have caught on, I have realized that for those of us, whose hobby is reading, Fan Fiction is a gift from heaven. I have just spent the past month reading up tens of Harry Potter fan fiction stories, you can just dream of a plot and you will find a story on it.
For those of you who love to read, I suggest you explore this amazing body of writing. Fan fiction is based on popular fantasy books/tv series. Its organized by various themes in each series, by ships (which is a fic term for relationships), and in various other ways.
I now hope to move on to writing some of my own fan fiction. Lets see how it goes
