Harry Potter – The world of JK Rowling

Here I am going to list my favourite web sites for Everything to do with HP.
For any serious fan… the first place to go to is the official book website with Scholastic at This place. They have a superb wizarding challenge section that you will love.
Then ofcourse there is the much hyped about home page of JK Rowling herself She has loads of easter eggs that you should keep abreast off, an extremely informative FAQ section and loads of other stuff.
Next, you want to know what theories are currently popular with the Fan community. Check out THIS live journal. They have some extremely good essays on a variety of theories in the HP fandom.
Ofcourse there are the wholesome fan sites you dont want to miss. My favourite three are:
Muggle Net
These guys have some extremely interesting theories, the latest news, and four excellent editors. Always loads of fun stuff to read up on.
HP Lexicon
This is the authoritative resource for the entire HP Canon. Its the most complete reference work on HP fandom that you are likely to find anywhere.
RedHen
Though redhen isnt really a very big HP fan site, or an HP fansite at all. The most innovative, the most popular and the most revolutionary theories in the fandom are the ones listed in the essays here. Thus, this one is my favourite website.

And now on to the Fan Fics. If you dont know what Fan-Fics are, read my other Blog entry on my main books page. I am a BIG fan of HP fan fics. I have read dozens of them and love to read up atleast a couple every week. Its a good way to pass time till the next book arrives, it gives me loads of free reading material, and hundreds of interesting concepts.
